Collaborating with the talented artist Sigrún Gyða Sveinsdóttir, I designed and created the knitted costumes for her latest work. This full-length chamber opera tells the story of a football player who dedicates her life to climate action, navigating the power dynamics around her.

Premiering on June 7, 2024, in Iceland as part of Sigrún Gyða’s solo exhibition, Skjóta combines operatic performances by Vera Hjördís Matsdóttir, Kristín Sveinsdóttir/Sterre Decru, and Sigrún Gyða, with local string players and electronic musician Baldur Hjörleifsson.
